Celebrating Excellence: MAAC Vashi, Panvel & MG Road Pune Conclude 21st Edition of GRAVITY Awards 2024

The 21st Annual Award Function, GRAVITY 2024, organized by MAAC Vashi, Panvel & MG Road Pune on December 6th, 2024, marked another milestone in the history of this prestigious event. Over two decades, GRAVITY has established itself as Navi Mumbai and Pune’s premier platform for showcasing talent in 3D Animation and VFX. Held at the iconic Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium, the event saw an enthusiastic turnout of students, industry leaders, and dignitaries.

The GRAVITY Awards 2024 gave students a unique opportunity to delve into the nuances of production pipeline workflows, replicating real-world industry scenarios. This three-month-long in-house competition culminated in 150 entries across categories such as Best Sketching, Best Digital Painting, Best Matte Painting, Best Photography, Best Character Modeling, Best Digital Filmmaking, Best Motion Graphics, Best UI Design, Best Visual Effects Film, Best Vector Arts, and Best 3D Game Asset.

In addition to showcasing their creative projects, students displayed their talents through captivating performances during the event. Representatives from leading production houses and veterans from the Indian Animation Industry evaluated the entries, offering students invaluable feedback and exposure.
